A few words about Madrassa-E -Jalilia, Nilbagan Madrassa-E -Jalilia, Nilbagan, Hojai, Assam is a Residential Anglo-Arabic Institute run by MAULANA ABDUL JALIL CHOUDHURY SMRITI BHAWAN „Nilbagan, which was established by our most reverend Islamic scholar Morhum Ameere Shariat N.E.India, Allama Tayebur Rahman Barbhuiya on 8 July 2018. The institute was named after the renowned Freedom fighter and Founder Ameere Shariat of N.E.India Hazrat Maulana Abdul Jalil Choudhury (R) as a token of respect for his outstanding contribution in Islamic education in this sub continenet. This is a unique Institute first in its kind in the entire North East India which is committed to produce pure Ulama-E -Din who can face any challenges irrespective of religion and to their livelihood also. They will be trained and prepared in a way that after their completion of Highest Degree (Daurae -Hadith) with a span of only 08 years, they will be able to be self dependent for their having vocational and job oriented Diplomas provided by the Institute At present, the Institute has 06(six) classes from Class V to Class X and this year in 2022 ,class X will be added. It follows the syllabi of Nadwatul Ulama Lucknow and Darul Uloom Deobond in Arabic subjects and SEBA course in General subjects. Experienced faculties from Nadwatul Ulama Lucknow and other parts of the country have been appointed to teach the students. Special classes are taken for English and Arabic speaking course. Apart from regular physical exercise and selected sports, there are regular weekly programme for co-curricular activities. The authority has decided to initiate various Job oriented and Vocational courses including Computer for the students in next years. The Smriti Bhawan headed by present Ameere Shariat N.E. India, Hazrat Maulana Yusuf Ali Sahab has 05 (five) bighas of land in a single plot and the Madrassa is situated on the same Complex. After the demise of our most honorable Islamic cleric Allama Tayebur Rahman Barbhuiya, the Managing Committee had decided to construct a Building for the Classrooms and Boys Hostel in his name as "ALLAMA TAYEBUR RAHMAN BARBHUIUYA BHAWAN" .The construction was started before Nationwide Lockdown and was stopped later on. Keeping in view the crisis of the classrooms and more specially the hostel accommodation in this 2021-22 after lockdown, the completion of even ground floor of the said Building is the urgent need of the hour. The Building is of G+2 category having 102x42=4284 sqft area in each Floor. To complete the ground floor, we require minimum 15 (fifteen) lakhs rupees now. Though the financial position of overall people is jeopardized due to COVID 19, but still we hope that the kind hearted brothers and sisters will extend their helping hand to donate affordable amount through our Bank account so that we can go ahead with the mission and vision of late Ameere Shariat Allama Tayebur Rahman Barbhuiya sahab. We are optimistic enough that our products will one day raise their voices in favour of their nation in any part of the part of the world and they will prove that a Madrassa Graduate can also do what others can do in this world of competition. Today, after a span of only two years, we are proud to say that a number of our students can conduct public meetings in English, Urdu and Arabic languages very efficiently. Like other institutions, poor and meritorious students also knock at our doors for admission and we allow them as per their merit from ZAKAT FUND. Hence, its our appeal to the donors to send their Zakat to our bank account (with an intimation to the numbers given below) so that these poor and meritorious students can obtain highest degree and become a true disciple of our Prophet Muhammed(PBUH)to serve the Islam and muslims as well the nation.
